CHESAPEAKE BAY LASER MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP
SEPTEMBER 8-9 2005
FISHING BAY YACHT CLUB
DELTAVILLE, VIRGINIA

1. RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing and the International Laser Class Association (ILCA) rules, except as any of these rules are changed by the Sailing Instructions or any appendices to the Sailing Instructions.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1 This regatta is open to all Laser sailors 35 years or older as of the first day of the regatta.
2.2 Competitors must be members of the North American Laser Class Association.
2.3 Fleets will be divided as follows: 35-44 Apprentice, 45-54 Master, 55-64 Grand Master & 65 and older Great Grand Master

3. ENTRY FEE
3.1 The Entry Fee is $65 and includes breakfast both days and a Saturday night dinner by Chef Alain Vincey.
3.2 All paid entries received on or before September 3 will receive a regatta t-shirt.
3.3 U.S. Sailing members will receive a $5 discount.
3.5 Additional social packages including all meals can be purchased online or during registration for $20.

Registration and Breakfast 0800-1000
Skippers Meeting 1000
Warning signal for first race 1100
Followed by up to four more race
Followed by refreshments
Dinner 1800-2100

Sunday, September 9
Breakfast 0800
Warning signal for first race 1100
Followed by up to two more races
Followed by refreshments and awards

5 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Sailing instructions will be available at check-in.

6 SCORING & AWARDS
6.1 Scoring will be done overall and by age group. Add points per race as follows:
-Apprentices (35-44) 3 points
-Masters (45-54) 2 points
-Grand Masters (55-64) 1 points
-Great Grand Masters (65+) 0 points
6.2 Prizes will be awarded for each age group, for first female and first overall.
6.3 The overall winner will be the 2007 Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Champion

10 DIRECTIONS
10.1 Deltaville is on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay and is approached via US 17 and US 33 regardless of whether you drive on I-95 from the north or I-95 and I-64 from the south. At Saluda continue east on US 33 to Deltaville and turn right at the Little Sue Exxon station on Route 1102, and follow the signs until you see Fishing Bay immediately in front of you. Turn left and continue slowly for some 0.25 mile over multiple speed bumps until you see the MORC dry sail area and hoist on your left. Car parks are on both sides of the road immediately east of the dry sail area. Camping at the club. Please leave your pets at home. Dogs are only allowed on club grounds while leashed and en route to a member's boat. This club rule is strictly enforced.
