RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the respective class association rules, except as any of these rules are changed by the Sailing Instructions or any appendices to the Sailing Instructions. The race is a point to point race, open to all dinghy or day sailing classes.

COURSE
From near the Chester River Yacht and Country Club dock down the Chester River to finish near Rock
Hall Yacht Club in Langford Bay, approx 12 nm.

Registration at the Chester River Yacht and Country Club Dock at 10 A.M. Registration fee is $5 per boat. Sailing Instructions will be provided at registration.

Skippers meeting 10:30 A.M. at CRY&CC dock

Start: 11:00 A.M. Between CRY&CC dock in Chestertown and club mark near Queen Anne's Shore. All boats start together.

Finish: Between RHYC Committee Boat and Government Can 5 at the Mouth of Langford Bay. Clubhouse and bar will be open. Hors d'oeuvres. Boats not finishing before 4 PM will be DSF.

SCORING
Boats will be timed and scored using current USSailing Portsmouth Handicap ratings for its class. If your boat is not listed, the RC will assign a rating based on similarity to listed classes. No handicaps specific to a class will be applied.

AWARDS
Awards: 1st to finish ( Sonny Usilton Trophy) and 1st thru 3rd corrected time (Collins Cup). 1st RHYC boat to finish (Strong-Austin Trophy). The awards will be presented at the awards party on Sunday afternoon following the RHYC Summer Regatta.

RISK
All competitors are ultimately responsible for the inherent risks associated with sailboat racing. It is the competitor's decision to enter the regatta and to start or continue any race. Each competitor will accept full responsibility for all his/her actions during any activity related to the event. This includes on-shore activities before, during, and after the regatta.
