63rd Annual Regatta

Fishing Bay Yacht Club (Deltaville, Va) hosted their Annual Regatta last weekend. It was a relatively large event for the Laser class. There were 15 full rig Lasers - it was very good winds on Saturday, with them slacked on Sunday. 8 races in all. Thanks to Andy Smith and George Panayides for supplying the information. there was no comment on Alain (MIA) Vincey. I'm beggining to wonder if David Hazlehurst is MIA as well.
George says "We got in 8 races (5 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday). Saturday we had good breeze, Sunday was light. Good competition though. Per Henry Amthor's request this event proves that the "Southern Bay is the Heavy Air Capitol of the East Coast". Though I (George) strongly believe that would be Wrightsville Beach, NC (sorry Henry), I think we get better breeze in the southern latitudes of the Bay.
