HYC Spring One Design Regatta

George Panayides:
6 lasers. We started in 10-15 knots of breeze that build throughout the day. We had a nice strong breeze by the end! We had our usual short races, a variety of
courses, triangle, windward/leeward, modified olympic. Four races for the day.
Henry Amthor and George Panayides battled for first place. Henry was faster upwind, George was faster downwind. George won the first two races, Henry won the last two. George went swimming (quite a spectacular deathroll) in race 3. Henry won overall with George in second. Bill Warren got third.
Water Report (by George): Still quite cold. I didn't really enjoy my swim. For some reason Henry thought we had 8 races instead of 4. Possibly because we had to hike.
Thanks to Leigh Morgan and company for putting the regatta together and doing RC. NOTE: HYC had guiness on tap on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
