Severn Sailing Association hosted its annual Spring Regatta for Lasers on May 15-16. 13 boats showed up for the 2-day, 5-race series in which Master sailor Alden Shattuck coasted to victory with a scorecard that read 1,1,2,3,2. Eight points behind in the tightly contested battle for second was District 11 Secretary Mike Schmidt, with longtime SSA fleet star Bob Tan rounding out the top three.
