We had probably the finest weather for an Opening Day in April than we have ever had in a very long time. We had 6 Lasers on the line for 3 races including two visitors from other clubs. The race committee sailed 3 long courses in Fishing Bay and reset the course for a Sea Breeze after the second race.
Brad Squires finished all 3 races in 1st place. Jon Deutsch almost took bullets in the second two races, but Brad's smart and fast upwind sailing on the 2nd upwind leg of each race got him back in front of Jon. Chris Bowne finished 3rd overall followed by Frank Murphy and Chris Cather. Ben Buhl sailed a Raidial.
