FBYC to host Laser Masters Atlantic Coast Championship

Fishing Bay Yacht Club has been selected to host the 2008 Laser Masters Atlantic Coast Championship on September 6-7 in Deltaville, Virgina. The ACC's will be held in place of FBYC's Annual Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championship and will follow the same format and setup.
Hampton Roads Laser Fleet

North Carolina Masters

Oriental Dinghy Club will host their annual North Carolina Masters Regatta this weekend. This event is a favorite of many District 11 sailors who make the trip annually. It will be held Saturday-Sunday June 28-29.

This past week several District 11-area sailors were in New Bedford Massachusetts for the U.S. Masters Championship. The sailors were among the 58 entries in the 3-day event. In attendance were James Jacob, Mike Schmidt, Rich Parolski, and Roger Link. Check out the results (pdf) and photos.

Norfolk Wednesday Night Sailing

The Wednesday Night Series has started up again. Come on down to the Norfolk Naval Sailing Center on Wednesdays and sail with us. First race is at 1800, cookout follows racing. Nothing goes with sailing quite like a greasy burger and a cold beverage so come down and enjoy; no experience necessary!
