Summer Lasers!
July 1st, 2005
LASER NORTH AMERICANS, In the deep of the Puget Sound in Seattle- An outstanding regatta. Incredible competition- Andrew Campbell won impressively.
RADIAL GIRL SAILORS BEAT BOYS. Masters and women did their share of excellent sailing. You would be amazed at the tidal range and current speed in the sound. Seattle Laser Fleet did a fine job putting on the regatta in a public venue- fine food and beverage; and the Starbucks was a plus!
The Canadian team could not touch Campbell. Andrew was truly a humble champion. Course setting was the biggest issue and hats off to the race management for their hard work and getting the races off in extreme tidal conditions.
ROCK HALL YC RAN ANOTHER PERFECT EASTERN SHORE REGATTA, up to 20 Lasers Made the Summmer One Design regatta. Nicholas Place is extremely thankful to the Laser fleet for supporting RHYC regattas.
NORTH CAROLINA LASER MASTERS- 5 District 11 sailors attended. Kim Couranz wins the top woman.
DELAWARE HORSESHOE CRAB REGATTA- Lasers and Sunfish ate all the bagels and savored the fresh sea breeze off the Atlantic Ocean. S
EVERN SAILING ASSOCIATION, ALEX BERTRAND won the Radial fleet at the Great Lakes Championship Regatta!
US Laser Masters Nationals- Severn Sailing Association this September 2005. Junior laser sailors, we need your lasers for the out of town guests hoping to make the regatta. Please help and loan your laser for the laser regatta cause.
Any folks interested in more "District 11 Laser Sailing" shirts? Going to put another order in soon.
